Langhorne pictures and old news clips

On
the left,
1906 Snow scene at Maple and Bellevue Avenues with trolley plowing the snow and
old cars and people in front of Kirk's General Grocery Store that later became
Irvin's Drug Store. My father had Uncles who worked as trolleymen on the Bristol
to Doylestown run. On the Right is Candy's Green Houses where my Grandfather
worked for a while after he left farming. My father also hauled Soft Coal to
Mister Candy for the boilers that heated them.
On the left, an old news clip of our
Neshaminy Intermediate League baseball
champions from Langhorne, some familiar names are on the team. On the right, the
old Pine Street School, which at one time was the Langhorne High School till the
Langhorne Middletown High School was built on Cherry Street. It was then used as
