To one of our most popular destinations by far , Greenwood Dairies, an ice cream and sandwich shop, on Rte. 1. Their specialty was a huge sundae served in a facsimile of a wooden trough. Upon successful consumption you were awarded a colorful button stating “I was a PIG at Greenwood Dairies”. Then hanging out on the "Hill" behind it, showing off our cars, and having a good old time.

Greenwood Dairies was also a  favorite after the Lower Southampton Canteens, the gym nights, and the Redskin's football games. Many cruised the Steer Inn or McDonalds in their (Hot Rods, with glass pack mufflers or cut outs open) and then up to the Hill by the garage for talk and camaraderie and in to consume great ice cream deserts and food.
